Port Fairy's South Beach - Pea Soup Bay - is protected by an outer reef. Dive to a maximum of 6 metres and view many fishes, rays and starfish, we even get the occasional fur seal join us on our dive.

Diving in Port Fairy, Portland, Warrnambool and Ewen Ponds.
There are several good dive sites located in and around Port Fairy, each with spectacular underwater views.
You can dive the Lighthouse Reef, Mills reef, the 'Thistle' wreck site or our fabulous South Beach Bay.
South Beach/Pea Soup is a great dive site for beginners or those divers who haven't been in the water for a prolonged period of time.
Ewen Ponds is located 10 kilometres east of Port MacDonnell and access is via a dirt road which is well sign posted.
Ewen Ponds is a series of 3 shallow basin shaped ponds approximately 6-10 metres deep fed continuously by fresh water springs; each pond connected by a shallow channel.
For Open water divers without cave qualifications or for snorkellers Ewen Ponds beckons.
For those who want more of a challenge, we have specialised CDAA trainers attached to our shop and they can teach Deep Cavern/Sinkhole, Cave and Advanced Cave courses.
We also offer TDI courses in mixed gases diving (Nitrox, Trimix etc) and we offer a gas blenders course. We are also now able to offer First Aid/CPR/AED training.
The La Bella Wreck.
Well known for its sheltered pristine beaches and perfectly moderate climate, Warrnambool is a wonderland for Scuba Divers who are searching for the ultimate underwater adventure.
Some of the popular diving sites that can be found in Warrnambool are The Aquarium, Eagle Rock, Helen Rock, Penguin and Middle Islands, Pickering Point, Stingray Bay, the Banks, the La Bella Wreck and Thunder Point.

Portland.
One of the many secrets of Portland is its great diving experience. Explore the fascinating caves and colourful sponge gardens, guide your way around the beautiful kelp forest and be mesmerised with wall drops of up to 70 metres.
Enjoy the artificial shipwrecks of the Saxon and Emily, deliberately sunk to form an artificial reef or enjoy one of the many other great diving sites such as, Bridgewater Bay, Nunn's Bay, Southwest Bay, Lee Breakwater, Lighthouse Reef or Minerva Reef.
Port Campbell.
Our latest addition to our dive experiences is beautiful Port Campbell. Sheltered by cliffs and Norfolk pines, Port Campbell has the atmosphere of a haven on the edge of wild nature.
Join a dive tour and visit large canyons and gorges on the sea floor or caves and arches in the area.
Dive beneath the beuatiful cliffs that frame this sheltered hamlet.
At Daktari Surf & Dive we use all the latest Scuba equipment and have all scuba gear available for hire including 5mm wetsuits.
We have a tank fill service available at both of our locations and Warrnambool also offers Nitrox fills.
Tank fill cards are available from both of our shops at a discounted price. We are also Aquanuat, Scubapro, Apollo, Sonar, and Tusa agents and we have a fully equipped service centre/workshop at our Warrnambool store capable of servicing all brands of leading Scuba equipment and at very reasonable prices.

Dive Hire.
We have an extensive range of quality diving gear you can hire.
Hire is subject to availability on a first come, first served basis - we do not take bookings for hire gear.
Before hiring any Scuba equipment, divers MUST produce their current Diver certification card from a registered dive agency such as PADI, SSI, NAUI or DSAT etc. and have their current log book showing history of dives within last 12 months.
- Dive suit - $25.00 per day
- BCD - $25.00 per day
- Tank - $20.00 per day + $10.00 for additional fill
- Regs - $25.00 per day
- Mask, snorkel & fins - $30.00 per day
- Tank, BCD & Regs - $65.00 per day
- Full Kit incl. Tank - $80.00 per day
- Weight Belt (with weights) - $25.00 per day
